Nata Village needs help!
November 28, 2006
In a post I saw in Katie’s blogI read something that got my attention: “every five steps you take a person dies.” That’s really huge, imagine how many people die every day if we consider that. And lots of those people are african people, the live in extreme poverty and have absolutly nothing to hang on in there. In the same post I read, it said that in Nata Village in Africa, some people have never bought a toy… that’s just awful, can you imagine yourself happy if you haven’t had any toys in your childhood? I can’t. So let’s donate money or toys to Nata Village so we could at least, help a little bit those people that die every five steps you take.
Pictures to imortalize moments of life…
November 28, 2006
I would love to take more pictures of everything, my friends, what I do, where I go, my routine, my house, even the sky (specially sunsets), so I could imortalize the things I lived and the things I will one day forget.
How nice would it be to write a book?
November 28, 2006
I’d like to write a book sometime, but a book different from others, that wouldn’t tell any story but where I would write about all th things I bielieve, and my thoughts, and what i learned in life. It wouldn’t be a book for everybody but mostely for me, so I could let it all out, and see who and what I really am.
I need to read more books!!
November 28, 2006
I want and I need to read more books, there are many of the Agatha Christie books I bought that I haven’t read yet, and I really like tat kind of book. There are also books my friends talk about, some about philosophies of life, others about drugged people lives, also biographies about people that were in the war, and so much more! It would be great if I read more books, and it would also help me with my other thing to do: watch less television, hahahahaha!!
Television sucks the life out of people
November 28, 2006
I must watch less television because it sucks the life out of me, I don’t do things that I’d probably enjoy more if i weren’t watching that TV show that I say I like so much. I could do much more interesting things instead of watching the damn TV, but it has something that I can’t describe, that won’t let me turn it off. So there’s a thing most people should do: don’t let the TV suck the life out of you (and me) no matter what.
Why I want to go to Singapore
November 28, 2006
I really want to go visit Singapore. I don’t really know why, but I think it should be the influence of my father telling me stories about this place. I imagine Singapore as a really rich and clean city, where everyone is safe, where ther’s not so much violence. I hope it’s all that, because I don’t want to be disappointed the day I actually visit it.
The first time I went to Ibiza
November 28, 2006
The first time i went to Ibiza, I was very young, I think I had about 13 years old and I couldn’t enjoy the famous night clubs and discos that are there. I stayed in a Club Med and I went to vosot the islands and the absolutely wonderful beaches! But I want to go there again to live the excitement of the late parties, and all that.
But even those that go there for living in the nightime sould visit the beaches, because there are some of the most beautiful ones I’ve ever seen.
Sunsets and pictures
November 8, 2006
Hey! Long time, no writing!
This picture here is one of my favourite sunsets, which you might as well like it, or not.
Maybe I like it this much because it was so much more beautiful at the moment I took the picture. I now realize when I look at it that I do not have the same feeling of amazement I had on that day So I suppose it must be the same for you.
Well, I took it in my countryside house, and there, it looked like a piece of heaven, but I guess pictures never transmit the same feelings you felt, or the same thing you saw, there’s always something missing. But if you see something that makes you feel good, always take a picture, because you will remember what it was like later.
Anyway, I love sunsets, I could say I’m hooked on them, and I consider it a wonderful addiction!
Red Campaign against AIDS in Africa
November 1, 2006
I saw a really interesting post in Elaine’s blog about this project or campaign to help people with HIV/AIDS in Africa. This project consists in creating and selling a red version of clothes, electronic products (as the apple iPod), etc. and taking a percentage of the companies profits gained with those products, and send it to Africa. It’s a very helpful campaign. Apparently It’s Bono Vox that started it, or someone from the U2 band.
I’d love to contribute but I really don’t know if I’m going to be able to do it, because I don’t know if this project will be launched here in Brazil or not. But if it is, I’ll help for sure, and I’ll like it, because I not only like buying things for myself , but also red is my favourite color.
That’s all for today folks…
See you later!
